I have a Dell/EMC CX300 SAN that has three DAE's hooked up to one DPE2.  The third DAE keeps failing and the event log says something like "Dup End Addr - Shunted" then the disks in the DAE fail, and finally it says "Storage Array Faulted Bus 0 Enclosure 3: Missing".  This happened once before and after powering down the whole SAN it came up fine and was running great for about a month.  One other odd thing is there are no amber lights on the failed enclosure at all.  Everything else is working as it should be, but I do see an error that says "Hard Peer Bus Error".  After much Google searching I have come to the conclusion that I should just replace the whole expansion DAE rather than the individual components.  In Navisphere, I did a resume on one of the working DAE's and noted the part number "100-560-130".  When I search for a replacement using that part number all I come up with is a DAE2 which says that its for a CX200 and CX700.  I guess my question is, is it possible to use that DAE2 (fiber channel) with my existing CX300 (FC) SAN?  Any help is much appreciated!
