I recently bought a 2nd hand Inspiron 5547 with Windows 10 installed. It worked fine. I then plugged in a cheap usb mouse a Techknet UM013 (no drivers required) and the mouse went a bit bonkers. It started clicking stuff without me pressing the button. I reset the laptop to tey and sort it, I had lots of very loud beeps on startup (more than you'd usually get for a bios error) which meant I had to turn off the laptop and start over.

Since then the mouse works fine but the spacebar is totally unresponsive. The rest of the keyboard works fine.

Any ideas?
