Wrong warranty date

Hello, I bought my Inspiron on 18th March 2022. But when I log on Dell Warranty Check and give my Serial Number (3LXKYZ2) it says that my warranty expired on 29th June 2021.

I have original invoice from where I bought it. Is there any chance to correct this date and my service support?

Hi all, if you have Incorrect/Wrong Warranty Date, please make sure to follow the steps below:

    • For Dell products that are purchased from Amazon directly (Sold by Amazon), you should follow the Dell Product Registration process to register your product.
    • Dell products that are purchased from third-party resellers on Amazon Marketplace (even if Fulfilled by Amazon) and eBay (or similar sites in your region), require transfer of ownership, as described in Ownership Transfer.

NOTE 1: Dell products that are purchased directly from Dell are automatically registered.
NOTE 2: Ensure that proof of purchase is kept handy while doing a product registration or a ownership transfer.

If you still need assistance, please contact support by clicking the ‘Get Help Now’ button located at the bottom right corner of the page. The button is marked with a help icon for easy recognition as per the picture below:

    Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue with the warranty.

We will look into this for you.

Do private message us the invoice for the purchase. Also, let us know if you are looking for any technical assistance?

We advise removing the service tag from the public post due to security of your personal information and private message us to assist you further.

    Regards,

    Pamyaphi

That system was built in June, 2020 -- so it was closing in on two years old before you bought it.  You may want to contact your seller for either a refund, or a hefty discount due to the age of the system.

first of all do not share your service tag on public forums, some one might misuse it.

you have been scammed most probably. Seller has sold you a refurbished/Used  unit
