Dear forum,

since I also wasn't able to find a way to ask Dell directly, I am trying here hoping some staff member will read it. 

There is suddenly only one led light able to tell me what is going on in the system. In former times (I was using the 7470 laptop) there were more LED indicators but times are changing. OK I can live without the HDD indicator. But what is quite important for me is to know whether the system is in sleep state or shut down (hibernated).

I've read the manual and found out that this function is not available at the moment. Well, it would go amber when the battery is below 5% but this is not enough. I just need to be sure that when I close the lid the computer sleeps and doesn't matter if it's plugged in or not. The laptop is normally so silent that I am not able to get whether it's sleeping or not. And when I open the lid to check, it wakes up of course.

So could you please add to some of the next BIOS updates (currently using version 1.3.11) the 0,1 pattern when the laptop is sleeping?
