Raid 0 configuration screen won't let me pause to enter CTRL+I

I managed to display the RAID configuration utility screen and enter into it by pressing CTRL+I after having changed the OptionROM Display Screen setting to Display from the BIOS, but for some reason I can no longer access the RAID utility by pressing CTRL+I. The utility screen just flashes real quick and doesn't even allow me the option to press CTRL+I anymore.  I can see the "Intel(R) Matrix Storage Manager ... " screen appear, but it does not prompt me to enter CTRL+I.  It just jumps straight to booting my OS without waiting for me to input CTRL+I!! I have already tried switching between Display/Hide several times to see if it would reset somehow, but no matter what I do it won't let me enter CTRL+I.  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

It is probably worth adding that the first time I managed to enter into the configuration utility I erased the RAID volume and restarted my machine without creating a new volume.  I tried to create the volume again before restarting but it kept on saying that I did not have enough space to create the volume.
