I have had my Inspiron since '07 and have never had any problems until recently... My CPU is stuck at 800 MHz speed(the lowest speed), and no matter what I try and do it will not raise.   I cannot find a spot in the BIOS that will let me do anything with it....

Does anyone here have an idea on how to get my clock to go up again ? I use the laptop for school and need to get it to last me for another 6 months or so when I replace it with a tablet...though i can live with it at 800 MHz, i cant do anything with it, only stuff that runs decent is Microsoft Word, and very few other things...

Mem- 2 GB

OS- Freash install of Windows Vista, patched up to SP2, 32 bit
