I got the P2419HC. It has the USB Type-C connection which I can use to connect my MacBook. This P2419HC charges the connected device with USB Type-C connection and this cannot be turned off. So I was wondering if it is safe to connect this to the MacBook Pro while the MacBook Pro is powered by it's own charger? I'm not sure connecting both will damage the MacBook Pro.

Or, should I only connect the P2419HC into the MacBook Pro since the P2419HC can power the MacBook Pro? Is the monitor power safe for the MacBook Pro?

If you have experience with similar monitors please let me know.
