Inspiron 17R, adding Ubuntu Lucid, NO NETWORKING

Hi,

I just received my new Inspiron 17R, and am trying to add Ubuntu Lucid, as a dual boot Win7/Ubuntu setup.  Both wired and wireless work fine on the Windows side.  On Ubuntu, neither wired nor wireless is recognized :-<.  I've tried changing my wireless from WEP to WPA (suggested on another thread), and also tried installing the Broadcom STA driver : http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/broadcom-sta-common and re-installing Ubuntu with the wired network plugged in, but no luck in getting it working

Suggestions of what to do now?
