Problem:

 

Just purchased the Inspiron 6000 laptop. I tried to set-up a network between my laptop and other computer. Upon installing the Wireless PC Card with the Installation Wizard CD (Bellsouth FastAccess DSL), it says "Remove AEGIS clients". I search on the internet with this matter and that to Remove the AEGIS clients is to:

 

1.) Go to Start>Control Panel>Network Connections>Wireless Connection and right click then Properties.

2.) Find the AEGIS, uninstall.

 

I did 1 and 2 but I did not uninstall the AEGIS, just disable it. I have read that uninstalling the AEGIS may crash your PC.

 

Still the Wireless Network Connection doesn't work properly.

 

Can anyone please tell me what to do?
