Internet Not working in all areas.
All,
I have a question that me, and everyone else that I’ve asked has not been able to figure out. About a month ago I bought a new dell inspiron 1501 laptop with windows Vista. It has worked fine up until last Monday. When I got back from spring break on Sunday the internet worked, however when I tried to use the internet ANYWHERES other than Hamilton hall or Charlton hall (two buildings on my campus), it will not work. I’ve tried almost everything I can think of to get the internet to work.I was told nothing on the network has not been changed since then. I’ve tried multiple cables, ports, ive tried updating drivers, clean install of vista, uninstalling the NIC, and restarting to let it reinstall, static addressing…. I’ve got no firewalls or malicious software that’s stopping it. My girlfriend also has the same exact model and specs as me on her Dell, however she is running XP and has had no issues. My account has not been suspended on campus either…. Any ideas
Edit: This is for my Ethernet, not my wireless of WiFi.
