Hi Volcano.  I'm so happy to see that there is a knowledgable person as you so involved in this forum. I want to make sure before I go through this again that I have the correct chipset driver for my machine. I've already formatted 3 times and am about to do it again. The system is a Dimension 8300 with an Intel Pro/100 VE  Ethernet card. In the link you gave last time  there was one file listed under chipset. I'm not sure if it was a driver or not. Is this the file I need?  Thanks in advance!!  Tim
