Dell Powerdge 1900 Logical drive fail
Hello,
I've two servers Dell Powerdge 1900, after a reboot one server have some problem with disks, the message states that 1 Logical Drive fail.
I've a RAID 5 configuration with three disks, looking at PERC 5/i BIOS Configuration Utility it said that 2 disks is missing, but looking at led in the front they are all green.
Before reboot the server worked properly.
Now, I need to recover some of the data, maybe is a raid controller problem, is it possible to move disks to the other server and read data inside? Maybe I can move the entire disk cage with all the disks to second server (identical to first one), it make sense?

Ciao, grazie per averci contattato.
Parto dal presupposto che con 2 dischi missing su un RAID 5 ufficialmente possiamo ritenere i dati non più consistenti, e quindi persi.
Detto questo, quello che puoi fare come prima cosa è:
- trovare quello che presumibilmente è andato in missing per ultimo
- toglierlo dall'alloggiamento e reinserirlo
- provare a forzarlo online.
Se il disco non va ancora online, o se il force online non è disponibile, a quel punto puoi provare a mettere i dischi in un server identico.
