Okay we gave up on wi-fi for this some time ago and its been hardwired to the router via ethernet. The printer has been hardcoded with an IP address high up the range. The issue is that the printer just falls off the network, All of a sudden its not there, offline.

The only way to get it back is to switch it off and on and re-add it as a new printer again. Then it works fine till the next day when it might drop off again. Is there any way to maybe switch off the power save?

Never known a hard wired laser to be so bad on a network. Usually they are set and forget for the user, not the printer itself.
