I have a R430 with the following versions:
- Bios: 2.12.1
- Lifecycle Controller Firmware: 2.21.21

When I try to update the Lifecycle Controller, I get the error RED004 for the Lifecycle Controller Firmware 2.40.40.40, A00.

I want to go through this firmware, because I saw that it was necessary to upgrade to 2.75.100.75, A00 and avoid the RED007 error (see: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000135299/idrac7-idrac8-red007-error-when-applying-latest-idrac-firmware-from-out-of-band-interface).

I tried to apply this firmware via the web interface, via the Lifecycle Controller and via a bootable SUU disk, but the result is always the same.

I also tried to do a soft reset, then a hard reset of the iDrac, but no change.

The result is the RED004 error.

Any ideas?
