This morning, I successfully burned a home movie to a DVD-R, using the notorious Philips DVD+RW DVD 8631. (Yes, it actually worked)

 

I just now tried to make an exact copy by putting my newly created DVD-R into the Samsung CD-RW (CD) drive (D) and putting a blank DVD-R into the Philips DVD+RW DVD 8631 drive (E) and clicking on the 'Copy' button.  After a couple of seconds, a message appeared "Please insert a disc in the Samsung CD-RW(D) drive"   and it ejected my disc.  I already HAD my DVD-R disc in there, but I tried the same thing several times and always with the same result.  Can someone tell me what could be wrong here?
