I recently purchased, am trying to use, Norton Ghost to back up my new (Jan. of this year) Dimension 4200 computer. I have the CD/DVD+RW NEC 1100A drive. And regardless of which kind of disk, formatted or not, I try the Ghost software says "No disk in CD/DVD drive".

I have done the update of the firmware for the drive, but still have had no lucky getting the disk recognized in the drive with that software.

I can copy to the drive normally, so does anybody know what gives?
