I replaced my dimension 4400 CD-RW Drive (LITE-ON LTR-24102M 24X) with a LITE-ON COMBO DRIVE 52X32.52 CD-RW & 16X DVD-ROM.  Replace due to defective CD-RW - no longer working.  Installed the new drive fine and it's software. Device is working properly according the device manager etc.   However, I can't modify anything on any of my CD RW files - can't add, can't delete etc.  Everything is READ ONLY.  If I burn to a new CD-RW can't modify it either, says I don't have authority  & to see system administrator.  I have tried to figure out how my system administrator info is messed up but everything looks fine.  My original program (Roxio CD program) no longer works, only the new software, is this normal?  Don't see a way on the new software (Nero) to 'format' a cd like I could with Roxio.  I have reset the 'jumper' from 'Master' as the new CD instructions directed me to 'CSEL' as the Dell User Manual directs.  Says defualt for Dell deskstop & workstation systems is CSEL.  Nothing seems to make a difference.  Maybe I have to replace with the CD-RW and not a combo drive?  Help - I am going crazy trying to find the problem.  Thanks!
