Despite all the necessary anti virus software from Norton some little critter got in my system and has caused havoc. It pretty much turned off everything. Spent a fortune on getting a re router and a computer doc to come in and take the virus off and fix everything.

 

He put on the new patches from Microsoft and then disarster struck when my ATI Radeon 9800 found itself incompatiable with the update! Result dreadful resolution. My office computer whiz then put me in touch with the ATI and downloaded a driver that "appears" compatable with the new update. Has anybody had this problem post update and if so how did you fix it.

 

My computer seems to be running a tad slow now though i know it is clean. Any other checks i should do

PS The UK Dell customer support is quite the most dreadful i have known. Call centres with people who cant speak English let alone fix your computer. Shared experiences?
