No resident AV?
Hi,
I think I finally realized why my husband keeps getting viruses....
When his Inspiron 6000 Norton expired and was hogging his system I uninstalled it and am using free AVs. There’s always posts not to run more than 1 resident AV, but I think I messed up and am NOTrunning ANY resident. That’s probably why he keeps getting viruses. We have…
Malwarebytes MBAM
AVG 8
Spybot S&D
Also Stopzilla Anti-Spyware (we bought) which does run in the task tray.
The Stopzilla is the only one running, but we need an AV also, right? Will the AVG or Spybot cover us if I turn on the resident parts? Which one should I use? AVG resident shield or the Spybot - is it the teatimer part? How do I?
