I have had so called "software" problems for the past few days.  On Wednesday, of this week, my McAfee wasn't working properly.  I contacted the company thinking it was just a problem with that program.  They resolved that issue then.  On Friday I had problems with Microsoft Word and my screensaver.  Technical support suggested a system restore, which I did.  That seemed to work until today.  Now I am having issues with the fact that my screen won't go into safe mode (?).  I think that is what it is.  You know, after your screensaver runs it's course your screen will shut off to save energy.  My computer also freezes, but only for a short amount of time.  It's like when you have given it too many things to do at one time, but it is only running one or two things.  And, it runs very slow sometimes.  I have run both McAfee VirusScan and Windows Defender and neither one found anything.  If these are "software problems, as the last technician I talked to put it, why am I having new ones every other day or every day??  Is there something else I can try?  Or, should I try contacting Tech support again?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
