Hard drive

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3552 and Dell says I need another hard drive but all they are recommending is to replace it with a SSD drive, will I have to reinstall windows 10 and my dell operating system. Or will Dell send me what I need to do this?

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.
