XPS 13 7390 No Bootable Devices
Hi! I've had this 2-in-1 laptop for less than a year and it's been driving me absolutely insane.
It went through a hard drive failure and I had to get the motherboard replaced. The repairman told me all I would have to do was connect the laptop to my router with an ethernet cable and then the computer would prompt me to download the OS, and I wish it was that simple.
It's connected to the Internet, and it's giving me a "Start PXS over IPv4" message when I turn it on. I have no idea what to do in the BIOS settings window because I haven't seen a single solution nor guide with the same interface that I do, which is blowing my mind. When I go into the boot menu and try to factory reset, both options are grayed-out, including the recommended one, and I have no clue why.
When I restart it from that window, that's when it gives me the SupportAssist "No bootable devices found." And then the entire sequence sort of loops for me.
It just feels like I have multiple issues here that separate threads aren't really helping me with. I'm definitely not a computer person, so maybe I'm making kind of a fool out of myself, but I'd really just like for my relatively new and expensive laptop to work and function like a relatively new and expensive laptop.
Thank you!!
