I currently own a Dell G15 5510 gaming laptop with the following specs:

16 GB DDR4 Memory (Dual-Channel)

Intel Core i5 10200H @ 2.4GHz ( Base clock )

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 ( Dedicated )

Intel UHD Graphics ( Integrated )

So for the past year or so I've been noticing high CPU temperatures like around probably like 92-95 degrees (Celsius) whenever I'm gaming with 100% CPU power and no throttles constantly around 3.4 - 4.0 GHz clock of CPU. Maybe there are a couple like every 10-20 seconds and drops to like 2.8GHz or 3.2GHz. But I do not experience any FPS drops or lags. I mostly play games like Minecraft, Counter-Strike 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Spiderman Remastered etc. And I don't know why or whatsoever is causing this but before I upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10 in February of 2022, I never noticed this thing and the max temp I EVER saw was about 84 degree C.

 

Because of this, lately I've been thinking maybe this is because of the fact that my thermal paste is probably worn off or something. Is it worth putting in the money into and getting the thermal paste reapplied and also get the heatsink cleaned or maybe there is a solution other than tuning down my cpu? Or is it that it's my laptop that's built like that and this is not a thing to worry about? I've even made an excel file with different speeds listed according to Temperatures. ( yet to be completed but here's a screenshot)

*Note* - While gaming, If my CPU reaches like 90+ degrees C, my GPU (GTX 1650) reaches around 84-87 C.

According to an application called "QuickCPU" (the one in the screenshot), the TJ max of my CPU is 100 C on the dot.

I use standard optimized settings in the power section of my BIOS. If I'm using ultimate performance than the temp is like 97-101 C and doesnt drop down even while idling. With Cool setting, things are a little bit better but in my opinion still very dangerous.
