I have an old P166 and it is only booting to a blank screen with C: displaying.

Running the Dell diagnostics I get the following messages:

x87 error exception test- co-processor- system error
cMchAPI::floadModule failed
File I/O erro opening module VIDO.MDM

The suggestion is that the mother board and the CPU are fried. Any ideas as to whether it is both or just one of the items. If I can, I'd like to replace only the necessary part(s) and avoid buying a CPU or board that really is not required.
