I would like to kindly ask everyone in this forum that has an XPS 9530 to let me know if they are experiencing the same issue as I am. As soon as I plug any phone device (Android, BB, iphone, Ipad) to any USB port (2.0 or 3.0), the plugged-in sound plays, then unplugged, and then it will connect/disconnect/reconnect randomly until it is unplugged.

I have tried the same devices (Android, iPhone, Blackberry)  in other laptops/systems running Windows XP/7/8/8.1 and all work fine. I also tried booting to Linux on the XPS and got the same issues as in windows.

I'm on A06, every time a new BIOS version comes, I install it hoping that'll fix the problem, however, to no avail.

PLEASE, I appreciate if you let me know if you have this problem. If not, also kindly let me know what device and cable type.
