I've had my XPS 8930 for almost 10 trouble-free months now and just the other day it's started to make the short chirping noise the others have reported on various models. I thought it sounded hard-drivy and that's what others have reported. It's a very short blast every 5 seconds exactly. This is constant, not intermittent. I note on a couple of posts Dell support say it's an inherent fault and "not to worry" but some customers have reported they've been sent a replacement drive. It's driving me nuts, I want it fixed, any ideas?
