Aurora R10, OC in Command Center, no Advanced tabs, #2
Just got my Aurora R10 with Ryzen 3900 and I am using updated 1.06 bios and oc tools. There is no advanced tabs for cpu or memory! I spent over 2 grand to have a gaming machine that allows me to be a gamer.
AMD’s B550A chipset belongs to the company’s Promontory-LP family (B450) and therefore supports 2+4 PCIe Gen 3 lanes, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 links, and six USB 2.0 connectors. The chipset might support overclocking, but OEMs can choose to support the feature or not based on the Cooling and the Power Supply and the Processor being a 3900X vs 3900.
Using an Enermax Liqtech II 360 White liquid cooler & an ASRock X570 Taichi motherboard, Splave overclocked his 3900 to an all core clock speed of 4.35GHz at a voltage of 1.375v.
The dell isn't using an X570 chipset.
overclock and over voltage damage is not covered under the standard warranty.

I saw that this combo supposedly fixed getting back OC capability but it has not done so for me. When I go into the bios there are two drop downs that do not drop down but do say they are enabled. one for overclocking the cpu and one for the ram but there is no ability to change these settings. I spent over 2 grand to have a gaming machine that allows me to be a gamer. Fix it so we can overclock!
I use AMD Ryzen Master... So you might wanna go to AMD's site and check it out.
Also, be careful of temps... some others on this forum with Ryzen 10 3900 systems were equipped with air-cooling when liquid cooling should have been supplied.
Note:
Alienware already defaults the cpu to Precision Boost Overdrive - at least on my Alienware R10 with 3800x PBO was enabled in BIOS outta the box! That seems to work great and keep the temps in check - at least with a liquid cooler
Incorrect, but thanks for replying. I can overclock all day long in Ryzen Master but in AWCC there are no overclock tabs for the 3900.
Edit: Also, the table you showed for the 3900x is interesting. I can get 4250MHz at 1.25v on all cores no problem (stable), something that table says only 6% of 3900x's can come close to.
AMD’s product warranty does not cover damages caused by overclocking, even when overclocking is enabled via AMD hardware and/or software.
Precision Boost Overdrive requires a compatible AMD Ryzen Threadripper, 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 3, Ryzen 5, Ryzen 7, or Ryzen 9 processor and a motherboard compatible with one or more of these processors. AMD 2nd Ryzen processors including the Ryzen 3200G processor are not compatible with Precision Boost Overdrive. Because Precision Boost Overdrive enables operation of the processor outside of specifications and in excess of factory settings, use of the feature invalidates the AMD product warranty and may also void warranties offered by the system manufacturer or retailer.

Max boost for AMD Ryzen processors is the maximum frequency achievable by a single core on the processor running a bursty single-threaded workload. Max boost will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to: thermal paste; system cooling; motherboard design and BIOS; the latest AMD chipset driver; and the latest OS updates.

I don't find DELL or AMD information showing the Aurora chipset and Bios supporting Overclock for Ryzen 9 3900 clock speeds 3.1GHz base,
4.05 GHz all-core Turbo
4.35GHz single core Turbo
