M.2 Solid State Drive Hold-down Screw for Alienware 17 R2 (2015)
I recently purchased a M.2 SSD (Crucial) for my Alienware 17 R2 Laptop. The screw needed to secure the SSD to the laptop is not provided nor were they included with the laptop. A very small screw is needed with a screw-hole diameter of approximately 1 millimeter.
Does anyone have any info as to the exact size and a source for obtaining this screw?
Thanks.

I went to Ace hardware and purchased an M2 , it was too long but I was able to do the following.
1: Bought a few M2 s c r e w s (about 1cm in length) (sorry dell is filtering the word s c r e w)
2: Bought 2 nuts to go on the s c r e w , when both nuts are on all the way it equates to about 3mm length
3: Used pliers and a dremmel to zip the excess length off the s c r e w, then backed the nuts off to thread it again if any threads were touched.
This worked for mine, fit perfectly in the M.2 s c r e w holes to secure the drives. Cost was about $1.99 total.

Source you can check on a hardware shop or online and the screw size is 2.0 x 3mm (CM2x3-3.3)
