I have been told that in order to add 4 nodes to my Centera Gen4. I also need to order additional switches. That the ports (6) that are unused cannot be utilized for these new nodes. Begs the question as to why design a switch with 24 ports if you never plan on using them.
If anyone can explain this it would be of great help. As I now have to go and try and explain it to the IT Manager, Sr Manager, and the Director.
