I recently got an Inspiron 7500 2n1, and there are two issues that I really want to resolve before deciding if I need to return it for a refund. The issues are:
1) Built-in/internal speaker audio is quiet or sounds distant and bass is almost impossible to hear even at very high volume settings. Using headphones works just fine.
2) The display is slightly oversaturated and has a yellowish tint. The Hue and Saturation sliders in the Intel Graphics Command Center under Display/Color can be moved but they do not actually change the display output at all. Adjusting the color calibration RGB brightness levels helped a small amount but cannot address the root issues.
I tried contacting support but it was painfully obvious they had no clue how to approach the problem when re-installing drivers did nothing. All of my drivers were/are up to date. My research on tech forums indicates that these types of problems can unfortunately be caused by any combination of driver, BIOS, and Windows update compatibility issues. I am hoping anyone has some specific suggestions or knowledge relative to this system, otherwise I may just return it while I still can.
