Dimension 9200

Hello,

I have had my my 9200 for about 2 years, with very few issues but last night my PC took a turn for the worse.  I was playing some games when the computer rebooted twice.  First two times it appeared like the power was cycled, no error  messages given but after I got into the OS on the third time I received a quick windows blue screen of death and it rebooted again.  This happend twice repeatedly, then it refused to boot up or post.  The blue screen was fast something like fltsys.

After a process of eliminations I figured out my motherboard does not like any memory in slots 2 and 4, I was able to verify this with the indicator lights on the front of the PC.  The lights 3 and 4 light up.  I went down and bought new memory just to be sure, and no matter what configuration if anything is put into these 2 slots it wont boot and gives a 3/4 light code.

It sounds like a bad motherboard BUT I just want to make sure there are no options in BIOS/OS or a jumper I could be missing that enables these two slots?  Sounds like a slim chance but want to make sure before I move forward with replacing the Motherboard.

Didnt install anything or do anything major recently.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Corey
