I have had a Dimension E520 for a couple of years now and the slow start up is getting ridiculous, taking between 5 and 10 minutes each time to access any programsl. Anyone else have this problem? I'm not using much hard drive space or running massive amounts of programs, have tried defrag and clean up to no avail.

I don't know if it's related to the problem I'm experiencing, but an error code I got with the Dell Diagnostics Express Test was: Error code 0F00:137B. Msg: IDE device failed: Blank media or no media is present in optical drive. Test requires media with data (Resource CD, Installation CD). Anyone seen this before, and does it relate to the slow start up?
