The person uses the USB optical mouse and it will randomly (once every week or so) stop responding. She must then unplug the USB mouse and plug it back in or reboot. BIOS is A05 and all hardware and software updates have been applied. Machine is GX 620 with XP SP2. I have replaced the mouse, uninstalled/reinstalled all USB hubs from Device Manager, checked all BIOS settings, and checked for blown capacitors. After searching the forums, I noticed this issue is prevalent in the GX 270 and 280 machines and there is an issue with some system boards having blown capacitors. This issue with the GX 620 is very frustrating as it seems to happen randomly. Has anyone else seen this issue with the GX 620 model? Any ideas for a fix?
