Hello, 

I had a blue screen error - 0x00008086 - last night on my Dimension 8400.  After rebooting, Windows said that it had recovered from a major system error and that I needed to download the Intel Storage Matrix.  Following on-screen instructions, I was directed to the Intel website and proceeded to download the English language version of the file (the instructions said to choose the multi-language version unless the specific language version (i.e. English language) was available).  The filename was: IATA89ENU.exe.

Unfortunately, installation of IATA89ENU.exe failed because "the system does not meet minimum requirements for installing software."

I would appreciate any advice on this problem.  Thanks in advance!
