Model: Optiplex 320 with XP

 

Symptom: On power up, BIOS screen appears. Progress bar gets about 15% of the way across and stops.

 

Keyboard lights flashing (CAPS/SCROLL/NUM Lock). Hard drive LED on. Front panel LEDs 2 3 4 on.

No beep codes, but I assume the 2 3 4 LED is a similar message??

 

Cooling fan running, hard drives (2x160 GB SATA) seem to be running also. Unplugging drives before boot

did not change results.

 

System was running perfectly last night. Put into Hibernation as usual and now it's brain dead and only about a year old.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.
