I have a Dell 4100 (PIII 933, 512MB RAM, Windows ME). Right after windows loads and it loads all the items in the task bar, it opens the folder of my C: drive. But this happens usually after I defrag or run norton utilities. Why would this happend sometimes and not be consistant. I just recently reformatted and have a clean install of windows. I think the problem started when I disabled some sound options in Norton Utilities. I then re-enabled them and it seemed to have fixed the problem. However, it still opens the C: folder at startup every so often. ????
