the XPS 8900 quick start guide shows a dangerous or at least very confusing connection in part 3. the pc power is shown as connected to the what looks like a power cable connector on the monitor. the power to the monitor appears to be connected to a miniDP / DP type connector. no problem for someone with reasonable intelligence but why should Dell be so inaccurate with connection - a simple diagram to check / correct.  posted here as i have had difficulty getting this message through to the dell customer department.
