Well I think the monitor is fine because I was able to use it at times for extended view, but at times it presents me with that black and white screen. I tried changing cables, but that did not work either. The amount of horizontal lines seems to change as a change the resolution of the extended monitor from my main monitor. Lower resolution produces finer lines, while higher resolutions produce thicker, more jagged lines.
