More recent NVIDIA drivers for C840?
Hello Dell Community,
I'm hoping that someone can help.
I have a Dell Latitude C840 with the NVIDIA Geforce4 440 go chipset, and I really need to get some more recent drivers for this chipset than Dell provides for Windows 2000. The latest drivers from the Dell page are the NVIDIA 42.58 drivers which are quite old, and do not even support DirectX9. Dell has stated that their policy is to only upgrade the drivers when a major new feature is implemented, would anyone else consider DirectX 9 to be a major feature? Anyway, has anyone had any luck using the a modified version of the reference drivers provided by NVIDIA? Thanks in advance for any help.
