Suggestion for I9400

Hi,

I'm using I8600 and the spared I8000 finally "retired" :smileysad: so I am thinking to buy I9400 for replacing 8600 and put it into semi-retire status :smileyvery-happy:

I appreciate if anyone can give me some suggestions about how to choose I9400 based on the following:

(1) In addition to normal office works, I do some image editing with PhotoShop CS3 for our web sites and of course, that includes some web publishing works.  I play some "old" games but nothing fancy.  I do love to watch DVD but don't do that often - maybe will change with the new system.

In any case, my questions are:

(1) CPU: What will be the best price/performance for CPU?  Do you think T7200 will be a good investment or any other suggestion?

(2) Display: UltraSharp and TrueLife.   Any "negative" comments on it?  I have never used any UltraSharp and TrueLife display so I don't know the real difference.

My main concern is will it display true colors when editing images and preview our web sites.

(3) VGA: Is NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS much better than RADEON® X1400?  Again, I am thinking the same questions for image editing and preview web sites.

(4) Battery: Does 80 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery really last longer?  I made a mistake for I8600 by buying an extra battery but I don't use it often plus it uses the media bay.  So I'm thinking to buy this new battery but does it worth the investment?

(5) Expansion dock: Never used it before, can it help to reduce temp as well?

(6) Migration: Has anyone used PCMover from Laplink? I am thinking to move "applications" such as PhotoShop, Office, and so on with it, and can it really do that without installations and settings?  How about user name and passwords saved in IE 7?  I wish to have a clean install of XP (no Vista) but move applications over.  Is it possible or am I still dreaming?  :)

Finally, are components such as battery and AC adapter of I9400 and I8600 interchangeable?

You are welcome to have any other suggestions and comments.

PS: Does 17" really provide more viewable area than 15" as how much?

Thanks in advance.
