I have the same issue with my S2340T for years now. It's not a driver issue, it's a hardware problem. I went from a Windows 10 system to a Mac OS-X system and the problem stayed exactly the same. Not always, but when it strikes, all you can do is turn the screen off for a few seconds to a few hours. What can be done for a screen like this? Does Dell even have a touchscreen anymore? I have finally just unplugged the USB completely and use it as a screen alone. Very sad.
