I got a laptop from a friend.  HE reimaged the laptop but under the device manager I have a question mark next under OTHER DEVICES--- NETWORK CONTROLLER ?

 

I cannot activate my wireless without fixing this -- correct?  The onboard wireless nic isn't showing under ethernet adapters either..

The ethernet adapter works fine.  I have looked and looked and tried different drivers but nothing works.  How can I fix this?
