Recently I posted a message about losing my wireless internet connection after leaving the computer unused for several, and I want to thank those who replied.

Yesterday, a friend helped me solve the problem. The firewall(Zone Alarm,free) was
stopping the access. After manually entering the ISP into the trusted zone,the connection stays up.

Why the connection works after bootup, but dies after 1-2 hours of non-use, is a mystery to me, but as the old saying goes " When you want to know what time it, the make of the watch doesn' matter"
