I had an issue for a while with my M4700, where the keyboard was not working. Not sure why, but it stopped working. So I ended up getting a replacement keyboard for it. I put in the new keyboard, and it still does not work. I've been meaning to sell it for a while, but I need to get the keyboard working before I can. Everything else works and has worked perfectly fine on the laptop, except the keyboard.
