I'm installing RAID0 striped hard drives for the first time and I've got them setup and working, but was wondering if I have them configured efficiently. With the way the cables are arranged in the system, this manner was the easiest.
SATA0: First WD Raptor
SATA1: CDROM
SATA2: Empty (connected to cdrom)
SATA3: Seconds WD Raptor
SATA4: Extra hard drive (non raid)
Does it matter that the Raid array is using SATA0 and SATA3. If it does, where should I put the cdrom drive?
Also, anyone else notice that the spacing between the power plugs for the drives is not long enough for the drives that are stacked? Thanks for the help, James
