Hi Guys,
The DLA is getting introduced into our env. starting 2010 Jan.
I have these few questions on DLA
1. How can I map a LUN to an FA w/o lun any address being mentioned ??
2. Again even though we can use DLA to get to assign the devices past FF (256) it still comes down to how many LUN's we can have on that FA (inc. meta members)
3. Consider this situation..
I have a Solaris host 'Host A' and I want to use an FA 08AA on a DMX with DLA enabled.
I use the devices 0010,0011,0012,0013 and map it to the FA 08AA and use the LUN addresses 1,2,3 and 4 on the FA and mask it to the Solaris host Host A...now I choose 4 more devices 00A0,00A1,00A2 and 00A3 and use the LUN addresses 100,101,102 and 103 on the FA and since the DLA is enabled on this FA I want to use the LUN addresses 1,2,3,4.Can I choose these same LUN Addresses ??
Is LUN offset and DLA one and the same ??
Thanks
