IDRAC8: upgrade issue, network loop

Question

I have a R730xd with iDRAC8 Version : 2.50.50.50 (Build 33) The moment I upgrade it to anything beyond 2.50.50.50, the console network connection goes into a loop. I have 3 more machines with identical config, connected to the same network, without any issue. What I have done so far? - Hard reset and reconfigured. - replaced board. - Step upgrade Any help is appreciated.

I haven't seen this issue before. I would start by disconnecting the iDRAC port from the switch, and connecting it directly to a laptop. Once the connection is changed, you could try upgrading the iDRAC to isolate away from every network environment factor. This would at least get you on a path of knowing which piece to troubleshoot.
