Hi everyone,

I factory reinitialized a Dell EMC Unity storage array. I can access Unisphere fine through the web interface, but I can't create a storage pool because the system is asking for a license file.

I don't have the original LAC (License Activation Code) since this unit was acquired second-hand, and the support/warranty on it has already expired.

How can I get a license so I can actually create pools and use the storage? Is there a free/basic license option available, or do I need an active support contract to get one?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
