VPLEX Meta-Volume on different arrays
Hi there,
in the best practices it says:
Best Practice states that the meta-volume must have two legs and each leg must be on a different array. If there is only one array attached to the VPLEX then you can have both legs on the same array. If there are two Dell EMC arrays it is recommended to use the Dell EMC arrays.
So if I have two VPLEX Cluster (VPLEX Metro) with one array each, will I place one meta on the local array and the mirror on the remote array that actually belongs to the other VPLEX?
In an older best practices guide it said "use local arrays", but in newer guides this isn't mentioned anymore.
