My laptop was delivered to my friends house, and as a initial setup was done, the vista account was created in his name: ABC. When I got the lptop from him, I changed the user account name to my name: XYZ.

 

There is only one account now, named XYZ. But whenever I install any new software, the user name/computer name that shows up in the install shield is ABC.

 

I can see that in the folder C:\users i still have ABC as the user folder, instead of XYZ. Actually this is the user folder that I Vista uses to store my (XYZs) user enviropnemnt stuff (pictures, facourites, music etc), but under the folder name ABC.

 

Also, in the contol panel user accounts-> Configure advanced user profile properties, i can see the profile name as XYZ/ABC.

 

I tried changing the computer name from ABC to XYZ.

 

Can I remove the ABC name appearing, from my vista permanetly? of course one cant delete the only account on a vista machine..

 

please help..
